properties, find properties and property information, seek guides and advice or participate in

After the sign up process you are automatically logged on to the site with a profile page and a user control panel to the right hand side of the page which has links to manage your profile and listings on the site. All information entered during your sign up process is editable. My Propertiesng has the following sections:

My Directory: is where you can view your directory listing details and as well edit your directory listing information.

My Articles: Propertiesng.com allows members to submit real estate related articles to the articles directory so as to share their wealth of knowledge about professional practices and trends in the Nigerian real estate industry at large. This section is where you to submit new articles to the website’s real estate article directory. You can also view, edit and manage articles previously submitted by you, set email alerts when article under your choice article categories are published in the article directory and lastly view and save articles submitted by other authors.

My alerts: Propertiesng.com allows users to set alerts for the following:

Article Alerts: Is used to set, modify/edit, and delete email alerts for articles in various choices of article categories with specified time duration.

Property alert: is used to set, modify/edit, and delete property email alerts for properties in the range of the property parameters set when setting the alert.

Question Alert: is used to set, modify/edit, and delete email alerts for new questions and answers on the website in your choice of Ask a Question category.

Saved Properties: is where you view saved properties.

My Ask a Question: is where you can view previous questions asked by you, and answers you’ve provided to other users’ questions.
Add Property
Is the page with a form to fill in the details and features of the properties you might want to list on the site. Below is an explanation of the fields on the form
Property Type: depicts the type of property to be listed, there are over 20 property types to choose from e.g Duplex, Bungalow etc. Just in case the type of property to be listed is not on the list of property types, choose the last option which indicates “OTHERS” and type the property type in the text box that appears.

Property Title: is the property headline that shows whenever a user searches for the property in the range of the listed properties. Its a brief information about the property listing consisting the property type, features, status e.g for sale, rent, lease. And location.
For example “5 Bedroom Mansion for sale in Lekki”.

Street Address: s the street address of the property
-
Country: The country the property is, this option is by default on Nigeria.

State: The state the property is.

City/Town: The City or town the property is. There is an auto suggestion system that suggests the city or town while keying the location.

SALE, RENT and LEASE: Check any of these three options whether the property is for Sale, Rent or Lease.

Property Description: s the section for a detailed description of the property. There is no limit to the text for this section but it is advised that the text be brief, concise and well detailed for the property viewer.

Upload Photo: option allows you to upload detailed property photos. Click on CHOOSE and then it will take you to a location where you can find the photo of the property on your computer, when you have selected the photo, click on OK, and then click on UPLOAD, after uploading the first photo, follow this same step to add additional photos, there is a slot for 5 photos initially, to add more photos, you will see a text below “Add More Images” once you click on it, another spot will show up for you to add another image, repeat this step to add more photos. You can select the default picture that you want to represent your property listing on the search page of the website, by clicking on DEFAULT. Every upload photo section has a photo title field where the title of each property photo can be provided. For example: If you upload the photo of the kitchen, then the photo title should be tagged Kitchen. There is no limit to the number of property photos that can be uploaded on the site. Just in case the upload photos sections on the main page has been exhausted there is a “Add More Images” options to add more photos. When uploading photo on the site, the size of the photo to be uploaded matters in terms of the time it will take to get it uploaded. There is no file size limit as to the photos that can be uploaded on www.propertiesng.com it all depends on if you have a fast internet connection. But if your connection speed is slow and going to be in the way of uploading your photos, there are various options that are widely available to resize the photos before you upload it to the site.

Extra property info: includes additional information about the property, they include options not listed on the first add property page. Most of the options are marked “N/A” by default meaning “Not Applicable”. Check the boxes for additional property features applicable to your property listing.

Searchable Price: is where you select the price range you want the property to fall within. For example: If the price of the property is N14,000,000 then the price range which you will select for the property, will be (N10,000,000 – N50,000,000) and if the price of the property for rent is N230,000 a year, then the price range which you will select for the property, will be (N100,000 – N500,000)

Status: This is for properties that are actually up for sale, rent or lease, if they are available, then ACTIVE should be selected, and if they are unavailable, then SOLD should be selected.

# Of Floors: is for the number of floors the property has; this is not applicable to all property types.

Financing Available: section is for properties that have loan/mortgage facilities, either through a Property Development Company, Financial institution, Mortgage company or Savings and Loans company

Completion Date: is the date that a property was built or for properties/buildings that are still under construction.

New Construction: specifies if the property/building is newly built.

# Bedrooms: is for the number of bedrooms available for the property.

# Bathrooms: is for the number of bathrooms available for the property.

Living Room Features: Check boxes for the available features. Note: You can click more than one option.

Bathroom Features: Check boxes for the available features. Note: You can click more than one option.
